Who We Are

Built for the Mountains. Built on Reputation.

In Northwest Colorado, a roof isn’t just a roof. It’s what stands between your family and brutal winters, pounding hail, heavy snow loads, and the kind of mountain weather that doesn’t give you much warning.

When something goes wrong up here, you need someone who already knows the terrain; not a storm-chasing crew that blows in after a hailstorm and disappears just as fast.

That’s where we come in.

Built for the Mountains. Built on Reputation.

Premium residential roof replacement on a beautiful log home with a mountain backdrop

Local since 1999. Still answering the phone.

Luke Berlet founded this company more than 25 years ago with a simple belief: do the job right, stand behind your work, and treat people the way you’d want to be treated. That hasn’t changed.

What has changed is everything we’re now able to offer. Over 25 years and thousands of completed projects across Northwest Colorado, we’ve seen nearly every roofing situation a mountain home can face; ice dams, failed flashing, storm damage, aging systems that were never built for this elevation. We’ve learned what works up here, and just as importantly, what doesn’t.

A family you can call. Not a call center you have to navigate.

Berlet Roofing is family-owned and family-run; and that’s not a marketing line. When you reach out, you’re reaching a real team that knows your name, your roof, and your situation. Luke’s wife Carissa has been part of this company from day one, making sure every customer gets the communication and care they deserve from first call to final inspection. Their sons have grown up in this business and carry the same standard into every project they touch.

We’re not managing you through a system. We’re taking care of your home.

What we do and how we do it

What we do and how we do it

We specialize in residential and commercial roofing across Northwest Colorado; replacements, repairs, storm restoration, insurance work, metal roofing, and everything in between. Over the years, we’ve expanded to include select remodeling and new construction services for homeowners who trust us with their roofs and want that same standard applied to the rest of their home.

Whatever the project, the process is the same: we show up, we explain what we find, we give you a straight answer, and we do the work the right way; with full ice and water protection, proper ventilation, and the details that make a roof last in this climate.

No shortcuts. No guesswork. No surprises on the invoice.

Why it matters where your roofer is from

We live here. Our kids went to school here. We shop at the same stores, drive the same roads, and deal with the same weather you do. When we put a roof on your home, we’re also putting our name on it, and in a mountain town, your reputation follows you everywhere.

That’s not a risk we take lightly. It’s why we’ve built this company one roof, one handshake, and one satisfied customer at a time. And it’s why so much of our work still comes from people who call us back, or send their neighbors our way.

Because in a mountain town, your reputation is your warranty.
